Falling Sａnd Abrasion Tester

Description

LR 529 Falling Sａnd Abrasion Tester is designed according to ASTM D 968. It’s applicable to determine abrasion resistance performance of organic coating. Abrasive is allowed to fall from a specified height through a guide tube onto a coated panel until the substrate becomes visible. The amount of abrasive per unit film thickness is reported as the abrasion resistance of the coating on the panel.

◆ Funnel with fan-shaped swithch is more convenient to operate
◆ The distance between guide tube and specimen holder is calibrated by special tool which comes which tester, more precise.
◆ Funnel installation height can be adjusted freely by below bearing.
